Prof. Dr. Fusun UYSAL

Graduated in 1987 from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Füsun Uysal completed her residency in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in 1993 at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In 1996, Prof. Dr. Füsun Uysal worked at Erasmus University Faculty of Medicine in the Netherlands for one year, focusing on mechanical problems of the musculoskeletal system and especially on diseases of the spine. In 1998 she became Associate Professor and in 2005 she became Professor. She has a European Board Diploma in her field and has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Association. Prof. Dr. Füsun Uysal has been involved in the restructuring of the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Clinic within the Group Florence Nightingale Hospitals since 2009. Prof. Dr. Füsun Uysal, who is a national athlete herself, continues her studies in areas such as the use of medical exercise in the treatment and prevention of diseases, mechanical and rheumatic diseases of the musculoskeletal system and new generation training methods.
